David Aaron Rhone is the third of four children of Dwane and Ardelia Rhone. He grew up in Pomona, California where his family attended the New Gethsemane Church of God in Christ.
As a young student, David was very active in his local church and served faithfully in various capacities. With music being his passion, he excelled in music ministry by playing piano and organ for the choirs in the ministry with the particular focus being on the children’s and youth choirs. This would be the catalyst that would launch him into the next phase of ministry.
David felt the call of GOD to transition into the Apostolic Faith and placed his membership at the Greater Bethany Community Church under the leadership of the late Bishop Robert W. McMurray.
While at Greater Bethany, David accepted his call to the ministry and served faithfully under the leadership of Bishop Noel Jones in many facets of the ministry culminating by being appointed Youth Pastor.
David obtained his ordination credentials within the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and has served as the following; District PYPU Vice President and PYPU Southern Regional Chairman.
David is the Pastor and founder of the Tabernacle of Praise Worship Center in Los Angeles, CA. He was appointed District Elder by the late Bishop Henry L. Johnson in 2011 and to the office of Suffragan Bishop by Bishop Robert T. Douglas, Diocesan of the Central California District Council in 2014.
David received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theological Studies from The King’s Seminary and has ministered several times in Japan and in the Philippines as well as cities in the United States.
He is married to Areli Almejo and has two beautiful children, his daughter, Bella, and son, Elek.
